What you need
- 2 oz bourbon or rye
- 1/4 oz hot honey syrup (below)
- 2 dashes Angostura bitters
- 1 large ice cube
- Orange peel
Hot honey syrup
Stir 2 tbsp Little Menace Hot Honey with 1 tbsp warm water until smooth. Makes enough for about 4 drinks and keeps in the fridge for a week.
How to make it
- Add the bourbon, hot honey syrup and bitters to a mixing glass with ice.
- Stir for 20 to 30 seconds, until well chilled.
- Strain over a large ice cube in a rocks glass.
- Twist the orange peel over the drink to release the oils, then drop it in.
Menace tip: Taste and adjust. Add more syrup for sweeter, an extra dash of bitters for drier.
